PURPOSE:
To comply with legal & regulatory requirements related to Occupational Health and Safety, to
promote a proactive Health and Safety culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicating HSE related aspects with customers, suppliers, insurers, lawyers & Authorities.
Reviewing Contractors Method statement prior to authorize the work
Authorizing the permit-to-work for customers and contractors
Assisting Department to list down the HSE requirement as per the copy of contract / scope of work related to Health & Safety
Assisting the department on external audits related to health and safety conducted by Clients.
Visit customer facility managed by Aramex to hold HSE tool box meetings and workplace inspections.
Conduct Safety Induction for customers and contactors
Walk through the facility on a daily basis & weekly basis to establish
Checking for the third-party certification for all the equipment’s used by the Contractors.
Checking for valid documents like RTA license, crane certifications, rigging equipment certifications etc.
Physical Inspection of the work site before commencing the work & Before Approving the PTW
Physical inspection of the equipment/tools to be used in that Particular Operations.
Check for the proper method statement before starting all non-routine Works.
Conducting Weekly Tool Box Talks for the operational work force.
Carry out investigations of all accidents, incidents & Near Miss Incidents and to update in the CA system, assign the case to the department in charges and follow up for corrective actions.
Carrying out the random inspections of ONG trucks ready for departure
Monitoring and supervising the mechanical lifting operations such as crane and forklift
Analyzing the GPS reports for drivers and reviewing these reports with them as part of Post trip analyses.
Qualifications:
- Holding Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Industrial Field or FMCG is preferred
- Certified as Governmental Safety technician
- Good Presentation and Communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
