We are looking for a Retail Events Production Manager to join our Engineering & Production Management Team in Zurich. In this role you’ll help us bring to life our brand and products at events and temporary brand spaces, from trade fairs, running- and testing events to community spaces (e.g. On Track Nights).
Working closely together with our Events- and Spatial Activation Design Teams, you will be a key driver in making On events world class and relevant for our communities.
Your Mission
Event production:
- Set the timeline and manage the realization of regional events from kick-off to roll-out
- Schedule and coordinate concept creation with the Spatial Activation Design Team and organize meetings along the project timeline
- Deliver full technical drawing package to vendors for production
Event tool development:
- Set the timeline and manage the realization of new event tools/fixtures from ideation to roll-out
- Partner with production vendors to ensure designs are produced to maintain standards, ensuring high quality material fabrication and craftsmanship/production method choices
- Negotiate in the best interest of On the production cost within the framework of the allocated budget. Budget updating and management of the contract and payment following the company policy and procedures
Your story
- Strong project management, interpersonal- and communications skills and a passion to drive people
- 3-5 years of working experience in event production or related field
- Degree in Design Management, Product Design or related creative and technical field as well as working experience in project management of 3D design projects
- Solid knowhow of materials and interest for production processes
- Performance-oriented approach, passionate about exceeding corporate goals and willingness to go the extra mile in the daily work
- Experience in fast-paced projects with the ability to manage consistently tight deadlines, multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
- Network of suppliers is a plus
- Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to share ideas and make them grow
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
