About our role
Administrative and HR support role in a dynamic manufacturing environment- Supportive team environment
- Based in at our Kelso food manufacturing plant in Kelso, regional NSW
What you will do
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for support for our Plant Leadership Team with administrative duties as required;
Maintaining records of documents and purchase order creation - Accounts Payable support including uploading of invoices and preparing related documentation- General admin duties, including ordering office and canteen supplies
- Assisting with organising / booking site functions, events, and catering
- Answer switchboard reception phone, including gate/site access requests
- Maintain presentable Reception Area and greet and induct all visitors to site in accordance with procedural requirements
- Collection and distribution of mail and coordination of courier services
- Drafting employee contracts and oversee employee job changes and terminations in MySimplot (HR Information System)
- Assisting with site communication, including team meetings, daily and weekly communications and announcements, site newsletter and monthly site communication meetings
- Maintain and approve Time & Attendance records of site employees in Kronos payroll system
- Site liaison between Kelso employees and centralised payroll team for payroll and Kronos queries
- New hire recruitment and induction coordination and support
- Reward and recognition coordination and prize distribution
- Maintain accurate data in the system, including position and job changes and terminations
- Maintaining compliance of training records within the Simplot Learning Management System, including uploading training documentation.
- Coordination of annual site compliance training calendar
Critical to this role is your ability to work flexibly and respond to the changing needs of your stakeholder group (Site leaders and employees), along with building strong relationships to be the go-to person at site. You therefore hold strong interpersonal skills and are able to translate policy and process to others and make things happen through collaboration.
About you
You are either an experienced office administrator or looking to start your HR career- Ideally, you have experience in administration or a generalist administrative HR role, with tertiary or equivalent
- You have a collaborative and personable approach, and are able to build relationships quickly
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
It will be your excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build partnerships at all levels of the organisation that will ensure your success.
