Responsibilities include
- Design ladies wear apparel and textiles that are trend-conscious, true to the brand’s identity, and in line with the product range.
- Research current and upcoming seasonal trends, prints, colors, and incorporate these ideas into weekly collections in a commercial manner.
- Reviewing and developing all products, including measuring of samples, fitting prototypes and samples, and communicating changes to factories.
- Maintaining close working relationships with factories and suppliers to remain updated on the status of samples and orders.
- Review and analyze sales data in order to concisely and effectively present and utilize the information.
- Trend research and develop apparel collections for each season Perform design analysis.
- Perform fabric and notion sourcing.
- Frequent visits to outlets to understand the needs of customers.
2. Probation
Requirements:
- At least 5-7 years work experience in fashion design
- Strong computer skills including Adobe CC and Excel
- Possess a strong technical foundation in apparel construction and keen sensitivity to fashion trends
- Excellent eye for trends, details, and colour
- Strong command of the Chinese language to liaise with factory counterpart
- Creative flair and eye for details on fashion
- Highly disciplined with excellent work ethics and attitude, organized and meticulous
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as a team, multi-task, work fast and meet tight deadlines
- Highly self-motivated, creative and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Shopify are advantageous
