Description

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supplier Management is seeking a Supplier Management Procurement Field Service Representative (PFS) to support our Commercial Modifications and Boeing Converted Freighter Businesses. The selected individual will be responsible to lead and oversee Modification, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) onsite supplier performance. The PFS is expected to effectively lead, manage and contribute to multiple supplier programs concurrently throughout the project/program lifecycle, from supplier evaluation to product delivery, and team with stakeholders from various disciplines and functions – both technical and non-technical and own reporting to Leadership. A strong foundation of MRO operational experience in maintenance, interior and structural modifications is required. Idea candidates will apply Systems Engineering principles; specifically Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development and implementation, KPI trend analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).


Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.
  • Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
  • Conducts and guides supplier assessments.
  • Leads the development or enhancement of metrics to monitor performance, and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ideally 9 or more years of experience working in an MRO environment

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • MRO operational leadership experience; manpower planning, job card burn and adherence to major milestones
  • Experience leading major supplier activity such as on-site assessments, recovery, corrective and preventative action plans, and/or new supplier onboarding
  • Experience working on development programs

Relocation:

This position offer one time relocation based on candidate eligibility.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
