About the Opportunity:

The Senior Accounting Revenue Operations Specialist will work in our financial accounting system (SAP) and report to the Director, Accounting Revenue Operations. The position is responsible for the accuracy of invoices and revenue recognition derived from signed contracts and amendments. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles. Candidate must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
Where you will make an impact

• Review and execute customer contracts to ensure they are set up properly for revenue recognition and are billed in accordance with the contract terms.
• Support month-end closing tasks.
• Support the companies' efforts to modernize higher education to the Cloud, assist in the processing of contract modifications to current contracts.
• Interact with field operations, accounts receivable and FP&A to ensure accuracy of project transactions, reporting & subsequent collections.
• Support field operations, perform contract and project reconciliations to help highlight project status, transactions, and subsequent collections.
• Support quarterly and annual external audits as needed.
• Drive continuous process improvements and innovations with the department as well cross-functionality.

What you will bring

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in order/contract/business management.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines is critical.
• Excellent investigation skills and the ability to solve complex problems while providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Self-motivated with desire to work in a team environment.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Proactive positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills; very detail-oriented
• Fast learner and self-starter
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Software Licensing industry is a plus.
