We are looking for multiple Packaging Operators to join our team. A new canning line is about to be installed and this will mean some great opportunities for our staff. You will be starting with us on a casual basis based at our Rowland Flat site. The position will assist with packaging duties including operating, checking, and maintaining packaging equipment, plant & machinery.

Experience in a manufacturing/production operation will be highly regarded, as will experience in an environment where safety is paramount and a demonstrated ability to follow work procedures.
You will be available to work shift work predominantly across day and afternoon shifts, and possibly the occasional night shift, if required. Some weekend work during our busy periods may also be required.

You will add value to the team through:
- Undertake training in the operation of packaging equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions and company procedures, with maximum efficiency, ensuring all quality, safety and environmental standards are met
- Understand and comply with safe operating procedures (SOPs), picture process maps (PPMs) and good housekeeping practices
- Carry out prescribed quality checks and monitoring to ensure all finished goods are produced within specification to a high-quality standard
- Maintain plant to operating standard (including housekeeping and preventative maintenance)
- Participate in and support 5 Stars continuous improvement activities (after receiving appropriate training)
- Identify and report incidents and hazards and report them in accordance with company policies and procedures (ICARUS reports)
- Clearly understand production targets and be actively involved in identifying and eliminating inefficiencies
