The Role:
The main focus of this role will be to carry out and support the administration, commercial and operational functions of project, and to contribute to project reporting, and communication with the local community and contractors. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Engage, coordinate and work with local trades
- Communicate and work with trades to track the progress of jobs
- Issue resolution as required
- Work closely with estimators, supervisors and team
- Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the contracts and works orders
- Assist in organising paperwork, processing quotes and updating orders
- Assist with progress claim assessments
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of accounts and payroll information
- Administer projects to ensure a timely and efficient completion of the head contract and subcontracts
- Ensure all inspections, certificates and other relevant documentation is signed off
Key Selection Criteria:
- Experience in an project administrator position or similar.
- Regional work experience, locals are preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including a professional phone manner
- Ability to develop strong relationships and engage with community
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
- Computer literate including Microsoft Excel, Projects, PowerPoint and Outlook
